La Cité de l’Eau is not only an aquatic area, this sports complex also provides weight training, cardio-training and fitness facilities.
La Cité de l’Eau provides an area adapted to all levels and all types of fitness and physical training (minimum age 16 years old):
- 1 weightlifting room, 150m2, with machine weights and free weights
- 1 cardio-training room, 210 m2, equipped with rowing machines, step machines, bikes
- 1 Spinning room, 100 m², kitted out with 32 bikes (classes: same-day on-site reservation)
- 1 room for group classes
There is a dynamic team of state-certified sports trainers to guide you in the weight training and cardio-training rooms and to instruct more than twenty weekly fitness classes.
A mobile phone app, Publier Aventures, has been set up by the municipality to discover the parks and trails in the municipality by doing a fitness activity in safe surroundings.
To do a fitness circuit on the community’s footpaths with exercises using urban fittings. Exercise videos, along with the number of repetitions depending on the person’s level, are available on the App (see the advert on page 35).

Outdoor Fitness Circuit
For those who love doing sport outside, Publier Town Hall has installed a variety of outdoor weight training facilities.
The facilities are in the Parc du Miroir next to La Cité de l’Eau’s tennis courts and swimming pool. Have fun doing sport outdoors!
